VISION AND MISSION GCHIP


The Global Centre for Hybrid and Immersive Pedagogical Innovation (PUI-PT GCHIP) has been established through UNY Rector Decree Number: 301.2/UN34/I/2025 concerning the Appointment of the Head and Secretary of PUI UNY for 2025. PUI-PT GCHIP is led by 1 Chairperson, 1 Secretary, 19 members/researchers, and 1 staff member. Institutionally, PUI-PT GCHIP consists of 4 (four) research groups, namely: (1) Digital Ecosystem Partnership and Training Division; 2) Innovative Pedagogy and Methodology Division; 3) Research and Development Division; 4) Human Resource Capacity Building Division. Each research group is coordinated by senior researchers and research groups within it that have relevant expertise and a track record of Academic Excellence and Commercialization.

RESEARCH FOCUS

The GCHIP research focuses on strengthening adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable hybrid and immersive learning ecosystems through the integration of policy research, innovative pedagogy, cutting-edge learning technologies, and human resource capacity building. The research focus is directed at supporting national education transformation and increasing global competitiveness through a research-based approach, quality standards, and international collaboration.
